LOTTE CENTER HANOI – BLOOD DONATION 2022
In Hanoi, on December 28, 2022, LOTTE Coralis Vietnam Co., Ltd organized the charity program Blood Donation 2022.
The program is part of the CSV – Creating Shared Value, LOTTE Coralis company in Vietnam organized a blood donation with the slogan “People live when people give”- “Give to receive back”. The program was organized to solve the blood bank shortage due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and dengue fever.
Accordingly, more than 200 people participated in blood donation with a total amount of blood units collected more than 60,000 ml. The collected blood was sent to the National Institute of Hematology & Blood Transfusion to treat patients in need.
Recognizing the importance of voluntary blood donation programs, since 2018, LOTTE has cooperated with the National Institute of Hematology – Blood Transfusion to organize “LOTTE Volunteer Day”.
We believe that the program was successfully and safely conducted amid the current pandemic. Moreover, the total number of blood units collected has contributed to bringing hope of life and treatment to patients, partly demonstrating the concern and role of the social responsibility of LOTTE corporation.
LOTTE Coralis Vietnam has spent a lot of time showing their responsible role to the community through many volunteer activities held every year, such as building libraries, renovating amusement parks for children’s shelters, sponsoring thousands of valuable gifts on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Children’s Day to children or families in difficult circumstances.
In the coming time, LOTTE Group will expand more meaningful and practical activities for the community.
