LOTTE ACCOMPANIES STUDENTS IN HANOI
Nearly 100 outstanding students at universities in Hanoi have been awarded scholarships with spiritual and material values from LOTTE Group – LOTTE Foundation Scholarship Fund.
On the 25th of May, 2023, the 2023 Scholarship Award Ceremony of the LOTTE Foundation Scholarship Fund (LOTTE Group, Korea) was held at LOTTE Center Hanoi building.

This is one of the annual activities of LOTTE Group – a symbol of the good friendship between Korea and Vietnam, and at the same time expressing the desire to contribute to community activities and social responsibility of LOTTE Group. This is expected to be a motivation to help students overcome difficulties, pursue their passions and get closer to their ambitions.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Chun Yung Woo, Chairman of LOTTE Scholarship Fund in Korea; and representatives of LOTTE companies in Vietnam: Mr. Sim Hee Seung – Managing Director of LOTTE Hotel Asia; Mr. Seol Dong Min – General Director of LOTTE Coralis Vietnam Company; Mr. Lee Hee Sung – General Director of LOTTE Shopping Plaza VN Company; Mr. Lee Sang Cheol – General Director of LOTTE Property & Development VN Company.

The LOTTE Scholarship 2023 honors and awards each scholarship worth $ 400 to 76 students with excellent academic achievements and efforts to overcome difficulties from 9 prestigious universities in Hanoi, including: Hanoi National University (University of Foreign Languages, University of Economics, University of Social Sciences and Humanities), Hanoi University, Foreign Trade University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Civil Engineering, National Economics University, Academy of Finance, Thang Long University and Hanoi Law University.
The LOTTE Foundation was present in Vietnam since 2008 and has many activities for the community such as awarding scholarships to students with difficult circumstances, achieving good academic results at the school; building libraries, schools for underprivileged children… In addition, other companies belonging to LOTTE group such as LOTTE Coralis Vietnam – the investor of LOTTE Center Hanoi building also operate with the motto for development, the top utility of people and society.
