“CHILDHOOD DREAMS” GHIBLI CONCERT ECHOES ABOVE HANOI AT LOTTE HANOI SKY

On the evening of September 12, 2026, SkyL Open Stage, in collaboration with the Vietnam Centre of Culture and Arts, presented the Ghibli concert “Childhood Dreams with Ghibli – Always With Me” at LOTTE Hanoi Sky, located on the 65th floor of LOTTE Center Hanoi.

Against the panoramic backdrop of the city, beloved melodies from STUDIO GHIBLI were brought to life through oboe, violin, piano and evocative vocal performances. Music, light and the Hanoi skyline came together, taking the audience on an emotional journey back to the cherished memories of childhood.

A GHIBLI CONCERT THAT BROUGHT CHILDHOOD MEMORIES TO LIFE

Some melodies need only a few notes to transport listeners back to the years they spent dreaming alongside Totoro, Chihiro and a moving castle in a world filled with wonder.

From “Spirited Away” and “My Neighbor Totoro” to “Howl’s Moving Castle”, beloved works from STUDIO GHIBLI unfolded throughout the evening, recalling timeless stories of love, courage, growth and farewell.

Under the theme “Always With Me”, the second journey of SkyL Open Stage not only rekindled childhood dreams but also reminded the audience that certain memories remain with us, no matter how much time has passed.

Through the rich sound of the oboe, the emotional voice of the violin, the gentle piano and expressive vocals, familiar cinematic music took on a refreshing new character. The meeting of classical performance and Ghibli melodies created layers of emotion that flowed throughout the evening.
